These YuruFun Trademark Guidelines (hereinafter referred to as “these Guidelines”) outline the rules for using the trademarks, logos, and other brand elements (hereinafter collectively referred to as “YuruFun Brand Assets”) of the YuruFun platform (hereinafter referred to as “the Platform”) and YuruFun services (hereinafter referred to as “the Services”). These Guidelines are intended to protect the integrity and distinctiveness of the YuruFun Brand Assets and to prevent confusion among users and the public.
By using any YuruFun Brand Assets, you agree to comply with these Guidelines. If you do not agree to these Guidelines, you are not permitted to use any YuruFun Brand Assets.
1. Scope of Application
These Guidelines apply to all users, creators, partners, and third parties who wish to use YuruFun Brand Assets in any form, including but not limited to websites, applications, marketing materials, merchandise, and community content.
2. Permitted Use of YuruFun Brand Assets
Unless otherwise expressly permitted in writing by YuruFun, the use of YuruFun Brand Assets is generally restricted. However, limited use is permitted under the following conditions:
2.1. Referencing YuruFun Services
You may use YuruFun Brand Assets solely to refer to the YuruFun Platform or Services, provided that:
- The use is truthful and not misleading.
- The YuruFun Brand Assets are not used in a way that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with YuruFun without explicit written permission.
- The YuruFun Brand Assets are not used in a way that disparages YuruFun or its services.
2.2. Community and Fan Content
Fans and community members may use YuruFun Brand Assets in non-commercial fan-created content (e.g., fan art, fan fiction, community forums) provided that:
- The content clearly indicates that it is fan-created and not official YuruFun content.
- The use does not suggest endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with YuruFun without explicit written permission.
- The use does not violate any other YuruFun policies, including the Terms of Service, Livestream Guidelines, and IP/DMCA Policy.
3. General Usage Rules
When using YuruFun Brand Assets, you must adhere to the following rules:
- Do not alter: Do not alter, modify, distort, or otherwise change any YuruFun Brand Assets. This includes changing colors, proportions, or adding elements.
- Maintain clear space: Ensure sufficient clear space around YuruFun Brand Assets to prevent them from being cluttered by other elements.
- Do not combine: Do not combine YuruFun Brand Assets with other names, logos, or designs without explicit written permission.
- Proper attribution: When using YuruFun Brand Assets, you should include a statement acknowledging YuruFun’s ownership, such as “YuruFun and YuruMon are trademarks of YuruFun operating entity.”
- No generic use: Do not use YuruFun Brand Assets in a generic manner. Always use them as adjectives, not as nouns or verbs.
- No domain names or social media handles: Do not register or use domain names, social media handles, or other online identifiers that incorporate YuruFun Brand Assets or confusingly similar variations thereof.
4. Specific Guidelines for “YuruMon” Character
“YuruMon” is the official mascot character of YuruFun. Its use is subject to these Guidelines and the YuruFun Character Secondary Use Policy.
- Do not misrepresent: Do not use YuruMon in a way that misrepresents its origin, purpose, or affiliation with YuruFun.
- Maintain character integrity: Do not use YuruMon in a way that is derogatory, offensive, or harmful to its image or the YuruFun brand.
- Non-commercial use: Non-commercial fan-created content featuring YuruMon is generally permitted, provided it complies with these Guidelines and the Character Secondary Use Policy.
- Commercial use: Any commercial use of YuruMon (e.g., merchandise, paid content) requires explicit written permission from YuruFun or adherence to the terms of the YuruFun Character Secondary Use Policy for token issuers.
5. Prohibited Uses
The following uses of YuruFun Brand Assets are strictly prohibited:
- Unauthorized commercial use: Using YuruFun Brand Assets for commercial purposes (e.g., selling merchandise, advertising services) without explicit written permission from YuruFun.
- Impersonation or false affiliation: Using YuruFun Brand Assets in a way that suggests you are YuruFun, or that you are officially affiliated with or endorsed by YuruFun, when you are not.
- Illegal or unethical activities: Using YuruFun Brand Assets in connection with any illegal, unethical, or otherwise objectionable activities.
- Trademark dilution: Using YuruFun Brand Assets in a way that could dilute their distinctiveness or tarnish their reputation.
- Misleading advertising: Using YuruFun Brand Assets in false or misleading advertising.
6. Enforcement
YuruFun reserves the right to take appropriate action against any unauthorized or non-compliant use of its Brand Assets, including but not limited to issuing cease and desist letters, seeking injunctive relief, and pursuing monetary damages.
7. Request for Permission
If you wish to use YuruFun Brand Assets in a manner not expressly permitted by these Guidelines, you must submit a written request for permission to YuruFun. Your request should include:
- Your name and contact information.
- A detailed description of how you intend to use the YuruFun Brand Assets.
- Any relevant mock-ups or examples of your proposed use.
YuruFun will review your request and respond in a timely manner. Granting permission is at YuruFun’s sole discretion.
8. Changes to Guidelines
YuruFun reserves the right to modify these Guidelines at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Platform, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly. It is your responsibility to review these Guidelines periodically to stay informed of any updates.
