YuruFun Livestream Guidelines

The YuruFun platform (hereinafter referred to as “the Platform”) provides a space for creators and fans to interact and co-create through characters. These Livestream Guidelines aim to foster meaningful interaction among users and eliminate illegal, harmful, or negative interactions, while respecting creativity and freedom of expression. We may update these Guidelines from time to time based on feedback from the community, moderators, policy experts, and other stakeholders.

1. Purpose

These Guidelines aim to ensure that all participants enjoy a safe, respectful, and creative environment for livestreaming activities within the YuruFun ecosystem. In particular, they protect the value and dignity of character IP and promote the healthy development of the community.

2. Prohibited Content

Livestreams containing any of the following content are prohibited and may result in immediate termination of the stream and potential suspension of future livestreaming capabilities on the Platform or access to the Platform itself.

  • Violence: Content that promotes explicit violence, threats, glorification of violent acts, or self-harm.
  • Harassment: Harassment, bullying, or organized harassment campaigns targeting specific individuals.
  • Sexual Content: Pornography, non-contextual nudity, sexual exploitation, or promotion of sexual violence.
  • Underage Use: Livestreaming by individuals under the age of 18.
  • Endangering Minors: Content that promotes or constitutes Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), or depicts child sexual exploitation or grooming. All CSAM found on the Platform will be reported to law enforcement agencies where possible.
  • Illegal Activities: Content that promotes illegal activities or violations of the law.
  • Privacy Violations: Sharing personal information without consent, doxxing (i.e., unauthorized association of an individual’s identity with their online handle or persona), or unauthorized broadcasting of an individual’s likeness.
  • Copyright Infringement: Unauthorized use of protected content, trademarked content, or other intellectual property of others.
  • Terrorism or Violent Extremism: Glorifying or encouraging acts that cause harm to others or significant damage to property.

3. Content Appropriateness

Aside from the prohibitions listed above, YuruFun does not intend to universally define content as “appropriate” or “inappropriate.” There is an implicit understanding that some, or much, of what is generally defined as NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content may appear on YuruFun. YuruFun reserves the right to unilaterally determine the appropriateness of content as needed and moderate accordingly.

4. Enforcement

Violations of these Guidelines may lead to the termination of a livestream and suspension of user accounts. These Guidelines will be enforced at YuruFun’s sole discretion. While our moderators will diligently strive to ensure these Guidelines are not violated, we may not be able to detect all violations. The publication of material in violation of these Guidelines that is not discovered by moderators does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce these Guidelines in their entirety against subsequently posted content. Content determined to be in violation of these rules will be removed. YuruFun reserves the right to ban users who violate these rules and to make appropriate referrals to law enforcement where posted content violates the law.

We may retain copies of livestreams for up to 30 days. We are under no obligation to provide, retain, or make available copies of livestreams for any purpose, and this period may be shortened or extended at our sole discretion.

5. Creator Responsibilities

  • Comply with these Guidelines.
  • Review moderation guidelines before streaming sensitive topics.
  • Ensure livestream content is appropriate to maintain the image of their character IP.

6. Appeal Process

We recognize that errors may occur in the enforcement of these Guidelines. If a user believes their content was mistakenly removed and does not violate these Guidelines, they may appeal the content removal by contacting “YuruFun Support” via the link on the YuruFun homepage. However, YuruFun retains the final discretion to determine whether content violates these Guidelines.
